Dormitory Rooms at MIT

Dorm rooms are also available in McCormick Hall, 320 Memorial Drive (next to Kresge Auditorium), at the following rates:

  • shared double room: $33/night
  • single room: $44/night
  • full double room: $66
  • children (ages 6-14/cots): $10/night

Rooms are furnished with twin-size beds, desks, and telephones and include all bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) and towels; bathrooms are shared (separate for men and women). The dorm is not air-conditioned; fans are available at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis. Check-in time is 15:00; check-out is 11:00. The phone number for your incoming calls/messages is +1-617-253-5961.

The easiest way to get to McCormick Hall is to get a taxi at the airport. The trip (about 6 miles/9.5 km) costs about $15. Or, if you're willing to walk a little bit, you can take the subway (called the "T") from the airport to the Massachusetts Avenue station (which is on the orange line); the stop is about 1 km from the dorm (a little bit far to walk if you're carrying luggage).

See the maps at http://www.cerc.wvu.edu/WETICE/WETICE97/directions-workshop.html to see the location of the dorm in relation to the meeting facilities and the subway station.

Print and complete and MIT housing form and mail or fax it to the MIT Conference Services Office.
